Behind every church community are people who care deeply about its life and mission. At Bathgate Parish Church, our minister, elders and volunteers work together to support worship, pastoral care and the many activities that take place throughout the week.

OUR MINISTER
Rev. Alex McAspurren

Rev. McAspurren has been minister of Bathgate Parish Church since 2025. Before coming to Bathgate, he served in [previous role or location if you'd like to include it].
He is passionate about XXX (example type - building a welcoming church where people of all ages can explore faith, grow in community and feel supported in their everyday lives). Much of his time is spent leading worship, offering pastoral care, and supporting the many groups and activities that are part of church life.

OUR ELDERS
Elders play an important role in the life of the church. Alongside the minister, they help guide the direction of the congregation and support pastoral care within the church family.
Many elders also take part in leading worship, supporting church groups, and helping with the practical life of the church.

OUR WIDER TEAM
Bathgate Parish Church is supported by many people who give their time and gifts to help the church flourish. From leading children and youth groups to organising community events and supporting worship, volunteers play a vital role in the life of our congregation.
