FOODBANK
SUPPORTING LOCAL PEOPLE IN PRACTICAL WAYS
Our Foodbank provides practical support to people and families in Bathgate and Boghall who are facing financial hardship. No referral is needed - you can simply turn up, and for first-time visitors we’ll have a short, confidential conversation to understand your needs.
OPENING TIMES
Tuesdays, 10am – 12 noon, in the large hall. Please note: Closed for two weeks at Christmas, two weeks in summer, and on Tuesdays when the hall is used for the church Thrift Shop (Easter and October).
HOW WE OPERATE
We are an independent Foodbank, run by volunteers from the church and wider community. All groceries are tinned, dried, or long-life (apart from a weekly donation of rolls from Scotmid). Our donations come from local churches, schools, businesses, community groups, and generous individuals.
DONATIONS
We are grateful for donations of food and essential items, which allow us to continue supporting our community. Our needs change depending on demand, so please get in touch if you would like to contribute.
ACCESS SUPPORT
If you would like to access support, please come along on a Tuesday morning, or contact the church office for more information.
